Records

DX Complete uses freeform Markdown records as the durable workspace surface, with tags, body links, artifacts, and text search for retrieval.

Capture work in a freeform record. Each record has a stable readable ID such as REC-0001, a title, optional summary, Markdown body, optional tags, authorship, and timestamps.

The two things DX Complete keeps

Workspace writingRecord

Use a Markdown body for requests, plans, choices, findings, evidence notes, results, and follow-up work.

Source evidenceArtifact

Use an artifact for original-format evidence such as PDFs, images, audio, video, notes, or source documents.

Finding records

Primary retrievalTags

Add optional open tags to group related work across a workspace.

Fallback retrievalText search

Search titles, summaries, and Markdown bodies when tags are missing, broad, or uncertain.

Time contextRecent records

Review recently changed records when you need the latest thread of work.

Older records remain readable as history. New notes, audits, requests, and delivery evidence should be ordinary records with useful tags.

Routine corrections preserve the earlier wording. Sensitive text is the narrow exception: when a workspace member explicitly instructs a redaction, DX Complete removes only the selected text from the live record and its history, keeps the record identity, and leaves a visible receipt stating who acted, when, and why.

Markdown and links

The dashboard renders record bodies as GitHub-Flavored Markdown. A readable ID links within the current workspace; a workspace ID followed by a readable ID links across workspaces. Normal web and artifact links can sit in the same body, so the explanation and source evidence stay connected.

Record linksWrite them in the body

Link to another record where it is mentioned. Removing that text removes the relationship.

Artifact linksRead-only source

Artifact links open the original file for signed-in workspace members without changing the file.

Stable referencesReadable IDs

Use readable IDs in conversation and records so people and assistants can refer to the same item.

Workspace scope

DX Complete keeps the shared record of work. When a specialized system is needed for billing, legal review, customer communication, or operational tooling, keep that system as the execution surface and link only the durable context that belongs in the workspace record.

Your inbox is an interface

Email can carry useful context into and out of a workspace without becoming a second source of truth. DX Complete keeps the resulting message with the record it belongs to.

ReplyContinue the record thread

Reply to a record email and the message is filed back onto that record.

ForwardSend mail into a workspace

Forward a message to <workspace>@notify.dxcomplete.com to capture it as a new record.
