People
People stay in command
The Principal sets a Target and Direction, then engages the work. The current capable session carries the delivery burden; the Principal retains authority.
Access is not authority. A record, session, subagent, or workflow does not grant permission, credentials, or power to widen the accepted Target.
People remain in command
Every assistant acts under a human Principal's authority, not its own. The Principal manually starts Executive sessions, may keep several in progress, and may retain their long context. After engagement, one current capable session delivers the accepted Target directly.
This model puts Humans Are In Charge into practice: capability can be delegated, but authority cannot. The record makes delegated work visible and recoverable.
One clear operating flow
They restore context and consider options. The Principal fixes the bounded result, numbered completion checks, constraints, and exclusions. A material change after work starts needs a new Target. Executive sessions can run side by side and retain long context.
After engagement, the current capable and authorized session performs, checks, releases, and closes the work. It does not create a parallel delivery structure.
The current session can use a subagent for distinct capability, isolation, useful parallel work, or independent review. The subagent remains part of the same delivery and gains no authority.
The delivering session records what changed, what it checked, and any residual risk. If it cannot finish, it preserves the unchanged Target and returns the exact stopping condition to the Principal. Older records remain readable.
One delivery, focused help
Delivery state stays with the Target and its records. DX Complete does not create a parallel delivery structure, backlog, or automatic handoff. If a session cannot finish, it preserves the unchanged Target, records the exact stopping condition and next safe action, and returns control to the Principal. Independent workflows and schedules remain separate services.
Independent review stays tied to the Target. It can point out a clear factual contradiction against a completion check or a controlling safety, access, or authority rule. It cannot approve, veto, block, add a requirement, or start an automatic review loop.
Historical organization records stay readable, but they cannot direct current work.
